Hi, I'm Bri

I am the face behind Avery McCoy. My husband, Jesse, and I live in North Liberty, IA. I have always had a passion for bringing people together and providing encouragement to those around me, as well as always having a creative "itch" that I would explore but could never find something I truly enjoyed; until I discovered polymer clay and started making earrings.

I started out just making and selling earrings, and began hosting workshops in 2023, which is slowly becoming my favorite part of this business. I am learning that I am an introverted extrovert; being around others fills my cup however I desire alone time after long events.

To inspire courage and confidence in others through community and connection, so they can propel on path to live a life true to themselves

HOW AVERY MCCOY STARTED

Avery McCoy began in January 2022 when my daughter requested to make earrings with air dry clay. She made a pair of studs, a bunny & a carrot. Unfortunately, these earrings broke as soon as I wore them, so I began researching and discovered polymer clay.

A huge winter storm was approaching, so we went to the store before it hit and stocked up on supplies to make earrings while we were stuck in the house. We had so much fun! This sparked my creative side and I couldn't stop making them.

And then Avery McCoy was born!

FUN FACT: The business name, Avery McCoy, comes from the middle names of our children.
